Think about it, photographers are never close enough to the action for us to see what guitar pedal our favourite guitarist is stomping on… and on second thoughts who would want to be? Imagine the trepidation of a photographer inching in from behind Pete Townshend to get an over-the-shoulder shot when he’s wielding his guitar around. Dangerous stuff. Ok, so this theory is a bit of a long shot but nevertheless a lot of us wonder what the pros use on stage in an attempt to recreate their sound at home and unless they tell us we will probably never find out. 2012 will be the year rock bands fight back, that’s right I’m predicting it! The over saturation of pop music in the charts and the hard times that have befallen on the youth of today will surely lead to some innovative, motivated and talented young bands breaking through, full of fire and skill.
